Apple Pie

Apple Pie is a classic dessert. Heavenly Cakes's gluten-free version of this American classic is hand made at Heavenly Cakes's 100% gluten free facility in Georgia. The dessert is prepared using the best natural ingredients, including fresh apples, warm spices, and Heavenly Cakes's signature gluten free flour.

• Shipped frozen, uncooked. 

Receiving instructions

• The pie is shipped frozen with dry ice, which may have evaporated during shipment. This is normal. Please take care not to touch any remaining dry ice with bare hands. Use gloves to handle dry ice. Upon receipt, remove the pie from the cooler and store in the freezer for up to 3 months.

Baking Instructions

• Remove plastic from pie. Place pie on a parchment lined sheet pan and bake in a 350 degree oven for about an hour until crust is golden. 
• Tip: Cut 1.5" wide strips of aluminium foil and wrap them around the edge of the pie crust to pervent over browning. 

Serving Instructions

• Serve pie warm, room temperature, or chilled. Refrigerate any leftovers in an airtight container for 3 days.

• Apple Pie Filling: Apples, salt, sugar, brown sugar, egg, unsalted butter, lemon juice, cinnamon, nutmeg, cayenne pepper .
• Crust: Heavenly Cakes gluten-free flour, butter, salt, sugar, water.
